Professor Knud Erik Jørgensen from Aarhus University (Denmark) will give a public lecture entitled
“IS RESEARCH AHEAD OF POLITICAL PRACTICE IN EUROPEAN FOREIGN POLICY?”

Knud Erik Jørgensen is Professor at the Department of Political Science, Aarhus University. His research spans European Studies and International Relations, focusing on IR theory and European foreign policy, specifically foreign policy strategies (bilateral and multilateral). He is the chair of the ECPR Standing Group on International Relations and former editor of Cooperation and Conflict, co-editor of the Palgrave Studies in International Relations and associate editor of the Journal of European Integration. His recent publications include International Relations Theory: A New Introduction (Palgrave, 2010), The European Union and International Organizations (Routledge, 2008) and Handbook of European Union Politics (Sage, 2007). He is currently directing a research project on the European Union’s performance in international institutions.
The event is organized by the Centre for EU-Russia Studies (CEURUS), University of Tartu.
