Olga Bogdanova, Executive Director

Olga Bogdanova is an educational developer and Deputy Head for Academic Affairs of Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies with over 15 years of experience in the lifelong learning sector and project management. Since 2011 she worked as a programme director of European Union-Russia relations MA curriculum and European Studies MA curriculum at UT, developed several joint modules and curricula teaching regional studies, business development and cultural theory in Russia, Eastern Neighbourhood, Wider Caucasus and Central Asia. With her worldwide network of partners, she contributes to internationalization and strategic development of the Skytte Institute and University of Tartu in general. Home page

Viacheslav Morozov, Academic Director

A native of Eastern Kazakhstan, Viacheslav Morozov received his MA in European Integration from the University of Limerick and his PhD in World History from the St. Petersburg State University. There, he taught for 13 years at the School of International Relations and at the Smolny College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, before moving to Tartu in 2010. He is currently Professor of EU–Russia Studies at the Johan Skytte Institute. Home page

Maili Vilson, Head of Communications

Her background is in Contemporary History (BA), EU-Russia Studies (MA) and Political Science (PhD) from the University of Tartu, Estonia. As an early career researcher herself, she has more than five years of experience in the field of science communication. She is currently working on a dissertation on the Europeanization of national foreign policy of EU member states and serving as a PhD Coordinator and Research Communication Specialist at the Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies.
