Webinar on art and political activism in Belarus
Under initiative supported by the 2020 – 2023 Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid to Eastern Partnership countries programme of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies at University of Tartu and the Center for Eurasian and Russian Studies (CEURUS) in cooperation with the Belarusian Student Support Association and Honest University will hold the sixth webinar in the series “New Facets of Political Mobilization in Belarus” on November 30 at 18.00 – 19.30 (EET, GMT+2). The webinar will be dedicated to art and political activism in Belarus. Those willing to participate are kindly asked to fill in the registration form.

- Nikolai Khalezin, founder of the Belarusian Free Theater, playwright and journalist. Topic: “Theater in exile. The art of resisting dictatorship”
- Egor Kvartalny, musician and showman of the Nagual and WAGON BUFFET bands. Topic: “Music and Protests. The Current State of the Industry”
- Maxim Osipau, artist. Topic: “Art in a crisis. Reaction or Reflection “.
