Dr. Patrick Heather from the University of Oxford (UK) will give a public lecture entitled

“EUROPEAN GAS HUBS DYNAMICS AND THEIR CONSEQUENCES ON COMPETITION, PRICE AND SECURITY””

Patrick Heather is Senior Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute of Energy Studies, the world leading research center on natural gas markets. His recent publications include a paper on “Continental European Gas Hubs: are they fit for purpose?” (2012). The lecture will address the following questions: What is the gas hub? What are differences between various gas hubs in Europe? What are the prospects for a gas hub in Baltics? What is the future for LNG?

The public lecture takes place in the framework of the Jean Monnet European Module on energy and climate policy.
