The lecture is organised in cooperation with the Baltic Defence College.

The lecture will focus on Russia’s sophisticated and effective disinformation campaign against Western values and institutions in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The Baltic States are under-studied targets for the spread of this disinformation, both in terms of its consequences, and as possible sources for countering these new forms of propaganda.

Donald N. Jensen is a Senior Adjunct Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) where he edits the Information Warfare Initiative’s weekly monitoring brief. Jensen is also a Senior Fellow at the Center for Transatlantic Relations, Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. A former U.S. diplomat, he writes extensively on Russian foreign and domestic politics, especially Russia’s relations with Europe.

The lecture is organized by the UT Centre for EU-Russia Studies (CEURUS).

The lectures are open to all, no prior registration is required.
