4th European Society of International Law (ESIL) Research Forum

From 26-28 May 2011 the 4th European Society of International Law (ESIL) Research Forum will take place in Tallinn, Estonia. It is organized by Prof Lauri Mälksoo and his team at the Institute of Constitutional and International Law at the University of Tartu. The theme of the Research Forum in 2011 will be “International Law and Power Politics: Great Powers, Peripheries and Claims to Spheres of Influence in International Normative Order.” It was chosen in order to best take advantage of the history and genius location of Estonia’s capital and the Baltics. Moreover, it is the declared aim that the Research Forum would bring together international law scholars and practitioners from the West and Russia.
