Post-doctoral fellowships

The University of Tartu (the Faculties and the Centre for EU-Russia Studies) acts as a host institution for post-doctoral fellowships awarded by the Estonian Research Council (ETAG). It is also prepared to act as a host institution for Marie Curie fellowships awarded by the European Commission (both the Intra-European Fellowships and the International Incoming Fellowships). The calls for Marie Curie Fellowships are published annually by the European Commission.

Applications for postdoctoral fellowships are prepared jointly by the applicant and the host institution. The Centre for EU-Russia Studies seeks qualified applicants for postdoc positions whose research interests closely match those of the Centre. Prospective applicants interested in a postdoc position at Tartu are encouraged to contact CEURUS well in advance of the application deadline to allow sufficient time for an internal academic evaluation and the joint preparation of the application.

The University of Tartu decides whether to support the application on the basis of an internal academic evaluation and the availability of suitable supervision. Priority is given to candidates whose profiles fit closely with existing research interests and orientations at CEURUS.
