CEURUS is open for cooperation with scholars from around the world, dealing with the field of East European and Russian Studies. It is involved in several cooperation schemes and projects.

CEURUS is part of UPTAKE consortium together with the Uppsala Centre for Russian and Eurasian Studies (University of Uppsala) and the Global Europe Centre (University of Kent).

The goal of the consortium is to increase research productivity and excellence in the field of Russian and East European Studies through a diverse programme of joint activities, including the launch of new academic conference series, the organisation of workshops and post-graduate training schools, extensive inter-institutional mobility, joint supervision of doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows, and coordinated promotion of research outputs, as well as a range of dissemination and communication measures.

The consortium is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 691818 (“Building Research Excellence in Russian and East European Studies at the Universities of Tartu, Uppsala and Kent”).
